Day #2 - Results

The favourites hold their ground on Day 2 of the Judo Pro League. The defending champion and its runner-up won outright and are already in the lead, while Flam 91 picked up important points in the day's clash with a view to the quarter-finals. Day 2 has yet to deliver its verdict, with the meeting between Orléans and Normandie Judo postponed to 26/11. Here's a look back at the 6 matches played.

SGS Judo vs Juniville Marnaval : 6-3

Already victorious by the same score last week, SGS Judo scored another victory, this time with the offensive bonus! Perfectly launched by Madeleine Rougier, victorious over European medalist Mélanie Clément, the Genevans didn't waver and are now in the top positions of the ranking!

Auxerre Judo vs Dojo Nantais: 8-0

Against a Nantes side reduced to 6 fighters, Auxerre Judo claimed a second consecutive victory. Led by Toma Nikiforov, the Burgundy club dominated the match and put themselves in an ideal position to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Montpellier Judo Olympic vs AM Asnières Judo 92 : 6-3

On Tuesday, Montpellier Judo Olympic claimed the first victory in its history in the Judo Pro League! The Montpellier-based club dominated last year's semi-finalists AM Asnières Judo 92 with authority. With this victory, the Héraultais are back in the race for the quarter-finals. As for Les Asniérois, they remain stuck at the bottom of the standings and have no room for error.

Judo des Hauts de France vs OM Judo : 2-5

Beaten by neighboring Nice in their Judo Pro League opener, OM Judo didn't miss a chance to get back on track against Judo des Hauts de France. The Nordic side were 2-1 up at half-time. After the break, however, the Olympians racked up four consecutive wins, including the latest from Célia Cancan, giving OM their first three points. After two rounds, the two teams are level on points, but the Marseille franchise will play its next two matches at home, while the Nordistes will have to travel.

Flam 91 vs JC Chilly Mazarin Morangis: 7-3

The Essonne derby between Flam 91 and JC Chilly Mazarin Morangis went in favor of the judokas from Flam 91, led by Kilian Le Blouch. The two teams, finalists in the first edition two years ago, were meeting again for their return to the Judo Pro League. After taking an early 4-0 lead, the Flam 91 judokas maintained their lead to win 7-3. With this victory, Flam 91 moved up to 3rd place in the standings.

Judo Nice Métropole vs Dojo Béglais : 10-0

Two matches, two bonus wins: all's well for the defending champions. Judo Nice Métropole put in a perfect performance against a depleted Bègles team, sending out a strong message to the rest of the Pro League. Superior in all areas, the Nice franchise gave the Bègles Dojo no chance, winning 10-0 and scoring a maximum of 100 points. After two rounds, Les Niçois are alone at the top of the table with 8 points.

US Orléans vs Dojo Nantais: postponed to November 26

The US Orléans vs Normandie Judo meeting has been postponed to November 26.
