On Thursday September 14 in Auxerre (Yonne), Auxerre Judo presented the stakes involved in its participation in the Judo Pro League to members of the CPME 89.
At the event, Stéphane Nomis, President of France Judo, and Nassar El Assri, President of Auxerre Judo, discussed the ambitions of the club, which has joined the Judo Pro League for the second season.
After an introductory speech by Baptiste Clerin, President of the CPME 89, the members of the CPME and the Fédération Française du Bâtiment from the Ile-de-France were able to discover the territorial ambitions of the Judo Pro League.
By taking part in this innovative competition, Auxerre Judo hopes to attract champions and develop high-level judo in the region. Sensitive to this message, the business leaders present were able to share their vision of sponsorship and patronage at local level.
Finally, Hicham El Medhi, Deputy Sports Director for Auxerre, and Jérôme Delavault, Conseiller Départemental de l'Yonne, also took the opportunity to discuss the vital role played by local authorities in the club's growth.
