The Judo Pro League enters its second week of competition with four meetings<\/strong> which will already give valuable indications of each person's ambitions.
Between historic clubs, new formations and prestigious reinforcements, the season is settling in and promises some high-profile confrontations on every tatamis.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, October 7: AM Saint-Gratien vs Dojo B\u00e9glais<\/h2>\n

Newcomer to the Judo Pro League, AM Saint-Gratien<\/strong> is about to discover the competition in front of its home crowd. The Val-d'Oise club, led by Khamzat Saparbaev, Jason Okoye and Lyse Versmisse<\/strong>is approaching its first season with determination. Their objective is clear: to establish themselves firmly in the league and aim for a place in the quarter-finals.
Opposite him, the Dojo B\u00e9glais<\/strong>present since the first edition, is aiming to turn things around after a tricky 2024 season. The team led by Christophe Dumontier<\/strong> relies on its experience and the presence of the double world champion Barbara Matic<\/strong> to revive its momentum and return to the top of the rankings.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, October 8: Normandie Judo vs SGS Judo<\/h2>\n

Visit Normandie Judo<\/strong> returns to the Judo Pro League with a view to breaking new ground. Having been eliminated at the quarter-final stage last year, the Normandy-based outfit is back on the same footing: a 100-% regional squad and an unchanged fighting spirit. Under the direction of Romaric Bouda, Perrine Saint-\u00c9tienne<\/strong> and Th\u00e9o Riquin<\/strong>The Normans are hoping to spring a surprise against one of the championship favourites.
SGS Judo<\/strong>a finalist in 2023 and semi-finalist in 2024, is aiming for the national title that still eludes it. The club from Laurent Bosch<\/strong> is supported by an experienced backbone - L\u00e9a Fontaine, Adam Kopecky, Quentin Joubert<\/strong> and C\u00e9dric Olivar<\/strong> - and the stability of a group capable of dominating the championship.<\/p>\n

Thursday, October 9: Montpellier Judo Olympic vs Juniville Marnaval Grand Est<\/h2>\n

After a season marked by its first qualification for the quarter-finals, the Montpellier Judo Olympic<\/strong> wants to confirm its progress. TheAngel Gustan<\/strong> is based on cohesion and the solidity of a constantly evolving team. The reception of Juniville Marnaval, one of the most reinforced teams of the off-season, will be a major test.
Facing her, Juniville Marnaval Grand Est<\/strong> has new ambitions. After a promising apprenticeship season, the club has treated itself to a luxury recruitment campaign: Amandine Buchard<\/strong>, Miriam Butkereit<\/strong> and Anne-Fatoumata M'Bairo<\/strong> join a workforce already made up ofAndy Granda<\/strong>, M\u00e9lanie Cl\u00e9ment<\/strong> and brothers Lou and T\u00e9o L'Herbier<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For his first appearance in the Judo Pro League, AC Boulogne-Billancourt<\/strong> has set its sights high. The Romain Poussin<\/strong> combines club-trained talent - Sarah-L\u00e9onie Cysique, Romain Valadier Picard, Kenny Liv\u00e8ze<\/strong> - and prestigious international reinforcements with Japan's Haruna Funakubo<\/strong> and Dutchwoman Joanne Van Lieshout<\/strong>.
Visit defending champion<\/strong>, US Orleans Judo Loiret<\/strong>The team is virtually unchanged. Despite the departure ofAnne-Fatoumata M'Bairo<\/strong>the group led by Anthony Rodriguez<\/strong> keeps its frames Arnaud Aregba, Martha Fawaz, Enzo Jean<\/strong> and Ana\u00efs Perrot<\/strong>. The Orl\u00e9anais, solid and consistent, intend to defend their crown with the same determination as last year.<\/p>\n
