The Judo Pro League 2023 quarter-finals continue this week with ES Blanc-Mesnil Judo taking on Auxerre Judo and Corsica Judo facing Judo Nice M\u00e9tropole. On Wednesday, we'll find out which two teams will join SGS Judo and AM Asni\u00e8res Judo 92 in the Final Four on January 6!<\/strong><\/p>\n

ES Blanc-Mesnil Judo \/ Auxerre Judo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Top of Pool C, just one point ahead of Judo Nice M\u00e9tropole, the Blanc-Mesnil team and its roster of international players have made this Judo Pro League one of the major objectives of their season. The team, coached by Jean-Pierre Gibert and Mathias Boucher, includes a number of national medallists in 2022 and\/or 2023, such as Laura Espadinha and Joris Agbegnenou, and has even strengthened its squad for this event with the arrival of two Tunisian internationals, Soumiya Imraoui and Sarra Mzougui, both reigning African champions. A solid line-up.<\/p>\n

Auxerre Judo, the new team for this 2023 edition, will be hoping to deny them a place in the Final Four. The Burgundy squad is largely made up of men from Sucy Judo and women from JC Pontault-Combault. The women's team won three medals at the 2023 French Championships in Caen. Auxerre Judo, who finished second in Pool D following their victory over OM Judo on the final day, will be one of the outsiders not to be overlooked.<\/p>\n

Corsica Judo \/ Judo Nice M\u00e9tropole<\/strong><\/p>\n

The final match of these quarter-finals, scheduled for Wednesday December 6, will be a\u00a0mano a mano who\u00a0<\/i>will be a derby between two teams who had already reached this level last year, with Nice's team even reaching the final.<\/p>\n

Leading pool D with nine points, Yves Camuzet's team includes several judokas from Corsican clubs - Lise Camuzet, Alix Crinquette, Bilel Zouani - and now a French senior champion in Hugo Metifiot, crowned in the -90kg category. A Corsican team that will be doing everything in its power to do better than last year. In front of their home crowd, anything is possible!<\/p>\n
