This Saturday at 8pm, the Paris Dojo will host the Final Four of the first edition of the Judo Pro League, four teams are competing for the trophy. Find all the information you need to know about these four teams!

Arts Martiaux Asni\u00e8res, the conquering spirit<\/h2>\n

Victorious of the Group B, composed of Corsica Judo and AJBD 21-25, Asni\u00e8res, first French club in number of members (nearly 1330!) earned its place in this Final Four thanks to its large victory against ESBM Judo. A welded, solid and homogeneous group. With, of course, the judokas trained at the club, like the NGayap Hambou brothers: Maxime-Ga\u00ebl, in bronze at the 2021 World Junior Championships and at the Grand Slam in Tbilisi at the beginning of June and Marc-Fran\u00e7ois, in bronze at the European Cup in Switzerland this summer. The AMA also hopes to see the young Junior Dabaya perform (son of the weightlifter Vencelas Dabaya, Olympic vice-champion in 2008), recent winner of the international junior tournament in Aix-en-Provence in the -73kg category. Among the women, we find the six-time senior national medalist of -78kg (including two titles in 2016 and 2018), Julie Pierret but Candice Lebreton, world medalist junior 2018 and at the 2019 French senior championships in -70kg, while the team is completed by the solid Tieman Diaby, recent vice champion of France in +100kg. So many valuable assets for the club led by Fabrice Ruimy and Guillaume Etchegaray. A team with a state of mind noticed during the elimination phase. Watch out for them!<\/p>\n

US Orl\u00e9ans Judo Loiret, an appointment with history<\/h2>\n

Historical club of the French judo, the team of the city of Orleans will be in this first Final Four of the history of the Judo Pro League. Coached by a child of the club and world medallist (-81kg in 2007), Anthony Rodriguez, and chaired by the dynamic Ma\u00eblle Di Cintio, the USO finished at the top of the Group A (with ESBM Judo and Normandie Judo). With its female athletes, the group has strong arguments to compete for the final victory. Indeed, with Astride and Priscilla Gneto, Margaux Pinot and Sama Hawa Camara, the Loiret club has enough to make its opponents wince. The first one remains on four podiums including two victories - Tel Aviv and Abu Dhabi - in Grand Slam (in -52kg). The second, in -57kg, on a victory, also in Tel Aviv, and a fifth place in Tbilisi. The third won the Grand Slam in Paris in February, finished third at the European individual championships and has just recently been brilliant at the European team championships held in Mulhouse. The last one, finally, was silver medalist in her new category of +78kg at the French championships. With the additions of Julian Kermarrec, five-time national medallist in -90kg and Ludovic Gobert, four-time French champion (for a total of six medals) also in -90kg, this team has been particularly impressive since the beginning of the Judo Pro League. So, a mythical club of the French judo crowned for this first time? The symbolism would be strong.<\/p>\n

Nice Judo Metropole, Issa Nissa !<\/h2>\n

Born from the agreement between Nice Alliance Judo, Olympic Judo Nice and JC Monaco, this new entity finished second of the Group C behind the team of Paris Saclay but in front of the Dojo Beglais. In the quarter-finals, this group composed of many judokas trained in the Alpes-Maritimes or passed through the hopeful pole of Nice defeated the OM Judo in a 100% Mediterranean derby. In its ranks? The 2013 world champion, triple world and European medallist and new French champion of the -81kg, Lo\u00efc Pietri. But also Florine Soula, French junior champion and vice champion of France seniors 2022 of -70kg, Guerman Andreev, champion of France seniors 2021 and 5e<\/sup> of the Grand Slam of Paris 2022 in +100kg or Tizie Gnamien, vice champion of Europe -23 years old and in bronze at the French senior championships 2022 (-81kg). A homogeneous group with a strong identity. Beware, the people from Nice will be there!<\/p>\n

Paris Saclay, young talents from Essonne<\/h2>\n

Flam 91 and JC Chilly Mazarin Morangis, two of the most important clubs in Essonne, have attempted this Judo Pro League adventure together. This team will count on a talented youth to go for the title on Saturday and enter the history of the competition.
\nThe names to remember? Lila Mazzarino, only eighteen years old, but already European champion and cadet world bronze medalist this summer in the -70kg category. Since then, she has finished fifth in the French 1re<\/sup> division and won the prestigious international junior tournament in Aix-en-Provence last weekend. With her, Spiros Eleftheriadis, twenty years old, vice champion of France juniors and seniors 2022 in -81kg, but also Lou Lemire, of the same age, who reached the final of the French junior championships last March, before finishing fifth of the French senior championships in early November in Toulon. The team can also rely on Francis Damier, 2001 generation, 2020 European junior champion and fifth at the Grand Prix in Croatia last July. A baby-boom class supervised by Alexandre Iddir, thirty-one years old, double European medalist (2014 and 2021), Olympic titular in Rio and Tokyo and more than ever capable of formidable judo moves!<\/p>\n
